The idea behind Switch 2 Welcome Tour is pretty much what you’d expect: You take a tour through the Nintendo Switch 2 console in a way that feels like an interactive museum exhibit. And I mean that quite literally — in this game, you walk around inside a giant version of the console, exploring everything from the Joy-Con controllers to the screen to the built-in camera. You can even look into the internal components, like the chips inside each Joy-Con, the cooling vents, and so much more.

Credit: Nintendo It’s a great time, and I can imagine many people passing it up because it costs money and isn’t being advertised as heavily as Nintendo’s upcoming flagship games. Sure, I agree it should be free — Sony included Astro’s Playroom on every PS5, which was fantastic and had a similar purpose — but this is Nintendo we’re talking about, and putting a price on something like this is classic Nintendo behavior. Whether or not you're okay with that is up to you, but personally, I believe Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour is worth buying even at $9.99. There’s honestly no better introduction to the newest system out there.
