To face Eris in Neon Abyss, choose any faith at the beginning of a floor prior to reaching Apollo’s level, avoid the temple on his floor, and defeat Apollo while your faith is still active. If done correctly, the portal after the boss will lead you to Eris.
Choose a Faith
On each floor, you’ll be given the option to select a faith. Go ahead and pick one.
This begins filling your faith meter. You don’t have to max it out—just make sure there’s at least some charge when you fight Apollo.
Avoid the Temple on Apollo’s Floor
Do not enter or interact with the faith temple located on Apollo’s floor.
Using it will end your run after defeating Apollo, returning you to the hub world and bypassing Eris completely.
Defeat Apollo with Active Faith
Make sure your faith meter hasn’t expired, then fight and defeat Apollo. With faith still active, the post-battle portal will now transport you directly to Eris’s domain instead of ending the run.
Using the Temple on Eris’s Floor (Optional)
Feel free to use the temple on Eris’s floor if you wish. Doing so won’t prevent the boss encounter.
Your faith level may increase or decrease here without affecting the outcome.
Face Eris
Eris appears like any standard boss. Explore the level and locate her boss room.
Upon victory, your run proceeds to Hyperion for the final confrontation.
