There are two encryption methods,are demonstrated below. After the document has been written, edited, and modified, click File;

##First type

As shown in the picture, click Information-Protect Document, you can directly select the required protection options to set;

The second type

As shown in the picture, click Save As-Tools-General Options;

##set password. The password to open the document and the password to modify the document can be the same or different.

As shown in the picture, enter the password to open and modify the document again, click Confirm and save normally.

When you open the document again, you will be prompted to enter the opening password; if you need to edit, continue to enter Change the editing password, otherwise the document content will be viewed in read-only (not directly editable) mode.
