When we use recursion in PHP or any programming language, we can cause stack overflow or any fatal error if the function is not used or handled properly, so it is always recommended to use global variables or static variables to prevent the infinite loop in recursion. To prevent this, we can perform system testing and also write a few of the test cases to have a look at it.
