Anbernic only recently unveiled the RG40XX V, which it presented shortly after releasing a reworked K101 Plus. Nonetheless, it seems that the company is almost ready to start selling the RG40XX V, too. Although the company has not publicly stated as much yet, it has apparently shared launch information and device specifications with various sources.
Specifically, Anbernic has equipped the RG40XX V with the Allwinner H700 and 1 GB of LPDDR4 RAM, as well as a 3,200 mAh battery. Arguably a predictable set of hardware given the recent release of the RG40XX H (curr. $94.99 on Amazon), the RG40XX V will also pack a 4-inch IPS display that resolves at 640 x 480 pixels with full OCA lamination.
As the image below shows, the RG40XX V contains a pair of MicroSD card slots too for storing games and running Anbernic's Linux distribution. Reportedly, Anbernic will begin selling the RG40XX V on August 26 for $59.99. However, this launch pricing is slated to increase to $66.99 on August 29. Presumably, the company will officially confirm all this information in the next few days or so.
