Create a MIP multi-end based on the existing site

If you already have a DreamWeaver UTF site and need to carry out MIP transformation and create a new MIP site to achieve common data with the main site, you can follow the following operations.
Our goal is to try not to move anything on the main site, so here I only performed one operation on the main site when transforming the MIP site
Just add a system parameter for the MIP address.
Proceed as follows:
Enter the background and click "System" "Basic System Parameters" "Add New Variable"


The variable name is cfg_mip Parameter description MIP address Then click to save the variable
After saving the variable, there will be an additional mip address in the basic system parameters. You can fill in the second-level domain name you bind to the new MIP, click Save, and that’s it!

Instructions for creating a MIP site


Our website is generally a virtual host or server (VPS/cloud server). For these two situations, the differences are as follows:

Virtual host, open a new virtual host, preferably in the same computer room, resolve the mip domain name to the new virtual host, and bind the MIP domain name to the virtual host, then copy your main site program to Inside the new virtual host. If it is just the same computer room, not the same server, go to the data folder of the MIP site to find the common.inc.php file, and change $cfg_dbhost = 'localhost'; localhost here to the database IP or database domain name, and the database must Allow remote connections.

For the server, you can create a new site, bind the MIP domain name, and then parse the MIP domain name. You can also copy the main site's program and put it into the new site. Same method for VPS/cloud servers.
Now that the creation of the MIP site is complete, use the MIP domain name to access it to see if it can be accessed normally. If so, it means that the new MIP site is successful,
