According to The Elec report, Samsung Electronics’ supply chain manufacturers are expected to start the production of Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 related components in early May. In contrast, last year’s Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Parts production for the Flip 5 begins in the second half of May. This means that this year’s standard Galaxy Z series release schedule is about two to three weeks earlier than last year.

Last year’s Galaxy Z 5 series mobile phones were launched globally on August 11. According to speculation, the release date of this year’s Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 may be advanced to late July.

Regarding the Galaxy Z Fold 6 FE, "Jiji Weekly e" pointed out that this model may be slightly inferior to the standard Galaxy Z Fold 6 in terms of processor performance, screen quality and battery capacity. Sources in the supply chain say that although the Galaxy Z Fold 6 FE’s camera may have the same configuration as the standard version, The Elec says that the model will not support the stylus function and will be designed to be thinner and lighter than the standard version.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 FE is expected to be released between September and October, about three months later than the standard version, aiming to compete with the Apple iPhone 16 released at the same time for market attention.

Regarding shipments, The Elec predicts that the first batch of Galaxy Z Fold 6 FE production will be between 200,000 and 300,000 units, and "Jiji Weekly" revealed that the machine will be priced at approximately US$800.
