The new profiles include 6.4/5.8 GHz and 6.4/5.9 GHz, where the first number refers to the Thermal Velocity Boost (TVB) frequency and the other One number is the Turbo Boost Max 3.0 frequency.

According to previous reports on this site, retailer SE Computer confirmed that the Intel Core i9-14900KS will be available on March 14 and is currently accepting pre-orders. The pre-order price is 27% higher than the i9-14900K.

The Core i9-14900KS processor is the last high-end CPU for the LGA-1700 platform and the last desktop CPU to use the old naming pattern.

This processor is based on the Raptor Lake-S architecture, with 8P 16E, a total of 24 cores and 32 threads, with 36MB L3 and 32MB L2 cache. The P core frequency has been increased by 200MHz to 6.2GHz (up to three P cores 6.2 GHz, full core 5.9GHz), the E core increased by 100MHz to 4.5GHz, and the maximum TDP also increased from 125W to 150W.
