News on May 30, OmniVision Group announced today the launch of a new image sensor called OV02E, specially designed for laptops and tablets.

OV02E is a 1080p Full HD (FHD) image sensor that uses interleaved high dynamic range (HDR) technology. It is suitable for devices with thin bezel designs, including mainstream and high-end laptops and tablets. Computers and IoT devices.

According to the editor's investigation, the OV02E sensor is adapted to the artificial intelligence (AI) chip and its size is 1/7.3 inches.
