Tutorial on upgrading OpenSSL (available for personal testing)
Currently, the OpenSSL of some servers is still version 1.0.1e. We will conduct server vulnerability analysis today. If a vulnerability in OpenSSL is detected, the only option is to upgrade OpenSSL. 1. Log in to SSH and check the OpenSSL version
openssl version
2. Download the source code
wget https://github.com/openssl/openssl/archive/
3. Unzip the source code package and enter the OpenSSL directory
tar zxvf OpenSSL_1_1_0c.tar.gz
4. Precompile
./config --prefix=/usr/local/openssl
5. OpenSSL is officially compiled.
make && make install
6. Move related files to the corresponding directory.
mv /usr/bin/openssl /usr/bin/openssl.OFF mv /usr/include/openssl /usr/include/openssl.OFF ln -s /usr/local/openssl/bin/openssl /usr/bin/openssl ln -s /usr/local/openssl/include/openssl /usr/include/openssl echo "/usr/local/openssl/lib">>/etc/ld.so.conf ldconfig -v
At this point, the compilation of OpenSSL is completed. Hurry and check it out. Check to see if the version is correct! ! !
