When opening phpmyadmin in a wamp environment, it prompts "The mysqli extension is missing. Please check the PHP configuration." This article will share my solution for the reference of friends who encounter the same problem. I hope it can solve your problem.

wamp installed wampserver (wampserver2.2e-php5.4.3-httpd2.2.22-mysql5.5.24-32b.exe) PHP is 5.4.

After installation, when running phpmyadmin, an error message appears: the mysqli extension is missing. Please check PHP configuration.

As shown below:Wamp opens phpmyadmin and prompts Mysqli extension is missing. Please check the PHP configuration. Solution

Here is a good solution:

Steps:

Check whether there is a php_mysqli.dll file in the ext directory of php. If so, continue with the steps below. If not, reinstall php Open php.ini, find;extension=php_mysqli.dll, remove the semicolon ";" in front, and change it to extension=php_mysqli.dll Find;extension_dir="./ext", remove the semicolon ";" in front of it, and change it to extension_dir="d:/wamp/bin/php/php5.4.3/ext/" Restart wampserver.

The wamp software opens at http://localhost/phpmyadmin/ by default. I tried http://127.0.0.1/phpmyadmin/. So, open the phpmyadmin configuration file D:wampaliasphpmyadmin.conf and change Allow from 127.0.0.1 to Allow from 127.0.0.1 localhost. It turns out that the settings of phpmyadmin only allow opening from 127.0.0.1, so the problem was easily solved.

I hope the above methods can help you solve the same problem. I wish you success.
