Donkey Kong Bananza: Where To Find Every Banandium Gem In Hangin' On Roof Road

Hangin' On Roof Road is a challenge stage in Donkey Kong Bananza, located at the start of the Lagoon Layer in SL100. You'll find it on a hill above the Reservoir Hills Teleport point, which can be accessed by scaling the mountains on the left after fast-traveling to the area.

As the title suggests, this level involves grabbing onto a ceiling and navigating past obstacles and enemies to reach the end. The second Banandium Gem is the most difficult to locate in the entire level. Once you grab the second ceiling path, use the openings in the walls to move left when you're roughly halfway through. Then, either climb through the wall openings or break through them to uncover a hidden path on the right side. After dropping from this secret area, you’ll discover the gem hidden behind a destructible wall.

Where To Find The Third Banandium Gem

The last Banandium Gem is located at the end of the level, right next to the barrel that sends you back to the Lagoon Layer. Just complete both ceiling paths, reach the finish line, and collect your third and final gem on Hangin' on Roof Road.

How To Complete Hangin' On Roof Road

At the start of the level, run up the ramp ahead of you, turn right, and leap to grab the ceiling's metal grate. You can either wait for the moving walls to pass or punch through them to clear your path. Also, be cautious of the enemy in this area, which can be defeated with a punch as well.

At the end of the first path, you’ll encounter three rotating walls and another enemy. It's best to draw the enemy toward you so you can eliminate it first, then proceed by passing through gaps in the spinning walls to reach a safe platform where you can pause and plan your next move.

The second ceiling path has larger moving walls, each with different gap positions. You don't need to rush through this section. Take your time, watch for openings where you can let a wall pass without knocking you off, and you should be able to reach the end of the level without trouble.
