With new elements dropping frequently, Elemental Dungeons on Roblox has accumulated many different play styles and ability combos. With so many to pick from, it boils down to which ones you enjoy playing the most and which can provide you with the best and most consistent damage output.
That said, the Mastery system in Elemental Dungeons makes picking an element quite a commitment, so we've compiled a tier list, sorting all the elements from worst to best in a few categories. Let's explain how this tier list was formed without further ado.
We have sorted these ranks by the following factors:
We will be looking at the raw elements themselves only, as each element can be mastered to deal more damage. Corrupted elements' variants deal twice the damage the regular element does, so they will not be considered, but limited-time elements will be.
Awakened element abilities will also be accounted for, as well as any passives the elements can gain.
The order in which the elements are listed within a tier is important, as the first element listed is the strongest within that tier. Each subsequent one is of similar strength, though weaker in some aspects than the one before it.

As you may have guessed, this tier consists of mostly Mythicals as they have a bigger and more impressive move-set. These can carry you throughout the whole game and are the peak of Elemental Dungeons's power scaling.
Some require a very specific build to do well, but if the requirements are met, you can expect these to dominate over any other element below.

Solar | Mythic / Limited | The most consistent damage across the board, with Reaper very closely behind it. It works with most builds, isn't difficult to pick up and learn, and has mobility that other elements lack. All of these factors put it comfortably at the top of S-Tier. |
Reaper | Mythic | Arguably the highest damage in the game, Reaper requires a very specific build to clean dungeons. We recommend this for very high-level players, as the awakened move-set puts it over the edge of other elements, but it does lack mobility. |
Kitsune | Mythic | The best Mythical element for lower-level players, Kitsune will carry you through most of the game easily. It's easy to use, has mobility, and is one of the strongest M1 attacks in the game. |
Phantom | Mythic / Limited | Unique move-set, with high damage. This element is best suited for players with high-tier weapons, as its abilities consider weapon damage. |
Galaxy | Mythic | The best AoE and mobility in the game, with good damage. Others in this tier out-damage this element for bosses, but otherwise it's a great choice for new and experienced players alike. |
Dragon | Legendary | With an awakened move-set, this ability out-damages even Mythical elements below it. As far as Legendary elements go, it is the best, and it deserves a spot in the S-Tier. |
Very good choices, which are all almost as impressive as the S-tier elements can be. These elements are not to be looked down upon, as they can still clear most dungeons with ease.

Its damage is impressive for a healer class, making it viable even for solo players, and its awakened move-set lets you experiment with hybrid builds as well, as it scales with sword damage too. |
Infinity | Mythic / Limited | Infinity has damage deserving of its Mythical rarity, but its move-set leaves a lot to be desired. It doesn't have mobility, so you'll be relying on its AoE attacks to protect you from harm. Being a Mythical, it earns its spot in the A-Tier by default. |
Krampus | Mythic / Limited | Much like Infinity, Krampus falls short when compared with others of the same Rarity. Still, among the highest damage-dealing elements in the game, it sits comfortably right behind Infinity. |
Darkness | Legendary | High damage, but sadly no mobility or utility. It relies on high damage, but hard-to-hit, abilities, making it difficult to learn and master. If you can manage it, however, expect this element not to disappoint you in dungeons. |
Bunny | Exclusive | One of the few Exclusive elements in the game, its damage doesn't disappoint. Buffs have brought it up to par with Legendaries, so we consider it to sit comfortably in the A-tier, if barely. |
In Elemental Dungeons, there is a very clear divide between the amazing elements and the beginner elements, with very few elements that fit into a category between the two. This tier focuses mostly on weird entries that are hard to place anywhere else, as they aren't necessarily bad choices, but otherwise have little to offer unless you like their play-styles.

Elements in this tier should only be focused on when you've warmed up to the game a bit, and are ready to move on from your beginner element. If you can afford to, we suggest moving on to something higher on the list.

Most elements in this tier meld together, as they're meant for beginners only. The higher it is on the list, the better, but unless you've got Air, there's no real reason to change between them unless you'd like to experiment with their move-sets.

Water | Rare | High AoE, but low damage. It's not a bad element, but do switch from it when you're able to. Ancient Tomb is weak to Water, so keep it until you're out of there. |
Sand | Rare | Ancient Tomb has the element of Sand as its theme, and so this element falls behind in counterplay. It mostly focuses on single targets, but its damage doesn't compensate for it. |
Air | Rare | The worst element in the game; it does have mobility, but nothing else of substance to offer. This is the only element we'd recommend you change if you have the funds for it. |
Fool's Phantom | Exclusive | Being a joke element for April Fools, its abilities are not meant for combat. That being said, having a photorealistic hand follow you around scores it some style points. |
