This is one of two pieces of intel on Tatooine that has a bug such as this, with the other one being the Abandoned Hideout location. Looking back at that same Reddit post from earlier, players mention that Ubisoft support is aware of the issues plaguing these quests, along with a few other minor location/quest bugs.

Players hope the next few patches remedy these issues, but unfortunately as of the release of Title Update 1.1.2, no such fixes are out yet.
