Xiaomi has now released the POCO Pad 5G following the tablet's appearance on Geekbench earlier this week. Incidentally, the tablet is the second entry in the POCO Pad range after the non-cellular model (curr. $326.50 on Amazon) that arrived earlier this year.
As expected, the POCO Pad 5G is exclusive to India for the time being. However, there is nothing to say that this will always be the case. For instance, although the POCO Pad 5G is effectively a re-branded Redmi Pad Pro 5G, both the POCO Pad and Redmi Pad Pro are available globally.
While the POCO Pad 5G is now official, Xiaomi has not released the tablet just yet. Instead, it has confirmed that sales will open on August 27 through Flipkart. For reference, the POCO Pad 5G will land in two memory configurations, both with 8 GB of RAM. According to Flipkart, Xiaomi intends to distinguish the pair with 128 GB and 256 GB of storage for INR 23,999 (~$286) and INR 25,999 ($310), respectively.
