One of the big problems of having a large collection of retro game consoles is that it's quite difficult to switch from one to another if you don't have multiple displays or TVs. But it seems that's no issue for an avid collector named Ibrahim Al-Nasser from Saudi.
Al-Nasser has just set a new Guinness World Record by hooking up 444 game consoles to one TV. His collection has gaming systems that are as old as the 1972 Magnavox Odyssey. He even has all the latest gaming consoles, including the PlayStation 5 Slim (available on Amazon).
As for switching between one game console and another, Al-Nasser has multiple KVM switches. Managing the number of these switches for 444 consoles is also a challenge, for which the collector has a digital guide. It's there to let him know which game system is connected to which KVM switch.
Cable management is another challenge Al-Nasser had to overcome. But as shown in the Guinness World Record video, he did a pretty good job at hiding the wires. Al-Nasser mentions that he had to use multiple tools to minimize the cables.
All this makes his collection room look more like a museumthan a messed up storeroom. You can check out Ibrahim Al-Nasser's game console collection and how he plays all of them on a single TV by watching the video attached below.
