News on July 26, the latest data given by market research organization Counterpoint today shows that China’s smartphone sales increased by 6% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2024, further confirming that the world’s largest smartphone market is recovering. In terms of specific share, vivo is still the number one in the Chinese market, with a market share of 18.5%, a year-on-year increase of 11.1%. Followed closely by Apple and Huawei, the corresponding market shares are 15.5% and 15.4% respectively.
