This site reported on July 26 that SilverStone’s official website launched the XE02-1700S air-cooled radiator on the 4th of this month.

The radiator is 66mm high, only supports Intel LGA 1700 platform, and is suitable for 2U small servers and workstations.

XE02-1700S is equipped with four 6mm copper heat pipes and an aluminum fin set, with a non-direct contact design in the center of the base.

Yinxin’s air-cooled radiator is equipped with a 25mm thick and 60mm diameter double ball bearing PWM fan.

The fan has a speed range of 1600~10000 RPM and a wind pressure of 30.99 mmH2O. For comparison, the vast majority of PC fans have a static pressure level of no more than 5 mmH2O, and only a few reach 4 mmH2O.

Behind such high speed and wind pressure is the equally prominent noise: the noise of the XE02-1700S original fan in full speed mode is as high as 57.5db (A).

In addition, the fan has a maximum air volume of 51.9 CFM and a rated power consumption of 11.28W (Note from this site: 12V rated voltage, 0.94A rated current).

Yinxin said that the XE02-1700S has a nominal thermal power consumption of 150W and a fan MTTF time of 198,000 hours.
