The reason why the blog post is not completed is because of the use of PD virtual software. It has been tested that it can be started using vmware!
CentOS is just a distribution, there is no so-called source code. Making the ISO of CentOS 7 is just a process of packaging the software packages you need. You can refer to: http://yangfannie.com/941.html.
