Check the following:
1. Turn off FastBoot and SecureBoot
2. Make sure your Windows is shut down correctly. If there is a dormant Windows on the machine, an error will be reported when installing Ubuntu
3. The ESP partition may be in NTFS format. In Linux, you cannot write to this partition if you do not install NTFS-3G
