I'm trying to connect my react.jsocks client to my spring boot backend web sockets but I can't connect them, it's giving me some errors on the chrome console like this:

chrome console error

I don't have any errors in my Spring Boot part, but there are some warnings like:

Spring Boot Console

Why can't I connect them? My react.js part looks like this:

      }
    }

export default connect(mapStateToProps,mapDispatchToProps) (Login);

And my Spring Boot configuration class:

package com.project.blog.websocket;

import org.springframework.beans.factory.annotation.Value;
import org.springframework.context.annotation.Configuration;
import org.springframework.messaging.simp.config.MessageBrokerRegistry;
import org.springframework.web.socket.config.annotation.EnableWebSocketMessageBroker;
import org.springframework.web.socket.config.annotation.StompEndpointRegistry;
import org.springframework.web.socket.config.annotation.WebSocketMessageBrokerConfigurer;

@Configuration
@EnableWebSocketMessageBroker
public class WebSocketConfiguration implements WebSocketMessageBrokerConfigurer {

    @Value("${blog.app.front}")
    private String url;
    @Override
    public void registerStompEndpoints(StompEndpointRegistry registry) {
        registry.addEndpoint("/wss").setAllowedOrigins(url).setAllowedOriginPatterns("*").withSockJS();
    }

    @Override
    public void configureMessageBroker(MessageBrokerRegistry registry) {
        registry.setApplicationDestinationPrefixes("/app");
        registry.enableSimpleBroker("/user-connect");
        registry.setUserDestinationPrefix("/user");
    }

}

Similarly for the network socket controller I wrote this part:

package com.project.blog.websocket;

import com.project.blog.entities.User;
import com.project.blog.repositories.UserRepository;
import com.project.blog.responses.ErrorSuccessResponse;
import lombok.RequiredArgsConstructor;
import org.springframework.messaging.handler.annotation.MessageMapping;
import org.springframework.messaging.simp.SimpMessagingTemplate;
import org.springframework.scheduling.annotation.Scheduled;
import org.springframework.stereotype.Controller;

import java.time.LocalDateTime;
import java.util.LinkedList;
import java.util.List;

@Controller
@RequiredArgsConstructor
public class WebSocketController {

    private final SimpMessagingTemplate simpMessagingTemplate;
    private final UserRepository userRepository;

    @MessageMapping("/message")
    private ErrorSuccessResponse receiveMessage(String user){
        ErrorSuccessResponse errorSuccessResponse = new ErrorSuccessResponse();
        errorSuccessResponse.setError("block oldu");
    simpMessagingTemplate.convertAndSendToUser(user,"/private",errorSuccessResponse);
    return errorSuccessResponse;
    }
    @Scheduled(fixedDelay = 1000)
    private void checkBlocks(){
        LocalDateTime now = LocalDateTime.now();
        List<User> users = userRepository.findBlockedUsers(now);

        users.stream().forEach(user->{
            receiveMessage(user.getUsername());
        });
    }
}

I try to use socks to connect my react.js frontend and spring boot backend but I can't do it

My process.env.REACT_APP_ROOT_URL is: http://localhost:1998 and @Value("${blog.app.front}") Private string url; the value of this part is: http://localhost:3000

The problem may be on the client or server side. The first step is to be able to test the server in isolation using a testing tool. This is not easy because the code uses STOMP protocol on SockJS.

You may not need to use SockJS. See Using STOMP with SockJS. So the first step is to remove the use of SockJS and see if it works.

The next step is to cancel the use of STOMP. A simpler approach is to just use plain text messages. If you do this, you can use a command line tool such as wscat or a Chrome browser plugin such as WebSocketKing to test the server yourself. Once the server is working with the test harness, you can use client code for testing.

I ran into a similar problem and ended up developing my own protocol using JSON messages, sent as WebSocket text messages. I can test the server in isolation using WebSocket King. Scroll to the end of Brill Middleware to see an example using WebSocket King.
