I'm trying to create an entity user using the command line php bin/console make:entity
But it keeps giving me this error:
In DoctrineHelper.php line 187: Cannot access protected property Doctrine\ORM\Mapping\Driver\AnnotationDriver::$classNames make:entity [-a|--api-resource] [-b|--broadcast] [--regenerate] [--overwrite] [--] [<name>]
I downloaded all the requirements according to the official website instructions https://symfony.com/doc/5.4/doctrine.html

This issue is triggered by the newly released Doctrine ORM 2.12.0
Until Symfony or Doctrine push a fix (and there hasn't been time to check which package is "problematic"), you can downgrade to Doctrine ORM 2.11.3.
Change the following lines in your
composer.json
:to:
And modify your
conflict
section so that 2.12 will not be installed:Afterwards, run
composer updatedoctrine/orm
to downgrade the package andbin/console make:entity
should work again.I discovered that the issue had been reported to symfony/maker-bundle a few days ago. Monitoring this issue is a good way to know when you can upgrade your Maker bundle and remove
doctrine/orm
conflicting declarations from your configuration.
