I just now discovered that we can use "queryParams" and HttpParams to construct query string parameter URLs - below is an example

goProducts() {
  this.router.navigate(
    ['/products'],
    { queryParams: { 'pageNumber': {page}, 'price-range': {itemsPerPage} } }
  );
}
let params = new HttpParams();
params = params.append('pageNumber', page);
params = params.append('pageSize', itemsPerPage);

Which method is best to use? Tried to find the difference but I can't find much information from the internet.

Try to find the difference.

Both methods - using queryParams and HttpParams - can be used to construct URLs with query parameters. However, there are some differences between the two methods.

The

queryParams method is used with the Angular Router module to construct a URL containing query parameters. This is a convenience method of constructing a URL that can be used with the RouterLink directive or the Router module's navigation method. This approach is better suited for navigation within Angular applications.

On the other hand, the HttpParams method is used to construct a URL that can be used to make HTTP requests. It is part of the Angular HttpClient module. This method is more suitable for making HTTP requests to external servers.

Both approaches have their own advantages and use cases. If you are building URLs for navigation in your Angular application, you should use the queryParams method. If you are constructing a URL to make an HTTP request to an external server, you should use the HttpParams method.

In your specific example, if you are navigating to a page in your Angular application, you should use the queryParams method. If you are making HTTP requests to an external server, you should use the HttpParams method.
