No solution, [IE7] uses a filter to support the Alpha channel of PNG to achieve a transparent effect, but fadeOut() and fadein() will destroy the filer.
Speaking of which, this question feels like it was 5 or 6 years ago. . Could it be that it is a government agency page that is doing all kinds of evil? Otherwise, why would there be any need to control IE6/7 now?
