The focus of this article is to teach you how to Calculate the number of weeks between two dates.
You can do it locally first to see if the implementation method is the same as mine?
The following is the method I gave:
The PHP code is as follows:
<?php function week_between_two_dates($date1, $date2) { $first = DateTime::createFromFormat('m/d/Y', $date1); $second = DateTime::createFromFormat('m/d/Y', $date2); if($date1 > $date2) return week_between_two_dates($date2, $date1); return floor($first->diff($second)->days/7); } $dt1 = '1/1/2020'; $dt2 = '12/29/2020'; echo $dt1.' 和 '. $dt2. ' 之间相差的周数是 '. week_between_two_dates($dt1, $dt2)." 周 ";
Here we ask for "1/1/2020" and the number of weeks between the two dates "12/29/2020";
Run the above code and the output calculation results are as follows:
1/1/2020 和 12/29/2020 之间相差的周数是 51 周
Then you can directly copy the above code and run it locally carry out testing.
Note:
DateTime::createFromFormat
-- date_create_from_format
: Parse the date and time string according to the given format;
Object-oriented style
public static DateTime::createFromFormat(string $format, string $time, DateTimeZone $timezone = ?): DateTime
Procedural style
date_create_from_format(string $format, string $time, DateTimeZone $timezone = ?): DateTime
Parse the date and time string given by the time parameter into a new DateTime object according to the format given by the format parameter.
Parametersformat
: The format string used when parsing date and time strings. Most of the formats are consistent with the formats in the date() function.
time
: A string used to represent date and time.
timezone
: DateTimeZone object, indicating the time zone that needs to be used when parsing date and time strings.
If the timezone parameter is ignored, and the string time representing the date and time does not contain time zone information, the current time zone of the system will be used as the time zone of the parsed result object.
Note:
If the time parameter is in UNIX timestamp format (for example: 946684800), or it already contains time zone information (for example: 2010-01-28T15:00:00 02:00 ), then timezone and the current system time zone will be ignored.
