In PHP, sort can be used to sort a numerical array in ascending order. The syntax is "sort (array to be sorted, specifying how to sort the elements of the array)"; if the sorting is successful, the returned result is true , if it fails, it returns false. The element parameter that specifies how to sort the array defaults to "1", which means that each item is arranged in a regular order.
