What does the green wavy line in Word mean?

①Microsoft Word uses a green wavy underline to indicate possible grammatical errors.

②Use a red wavy underline to indicate possible spelling errors. Right-click the marked text to open the shortcut menu. Click the spelling suggestion given above the shortcut menu. Word will automatically click with the mouse. Replace the words underlined in red squiggles with the words. Click the "Ignore All" command in the menu, and Word will ignore all errors with this string in the current document. Click the "Add to Dictionary" command, and Word will add the string to a random dictionary. There will be no error prompt when entering this string in the document.

Although the red and green squiggly underlines represent errors, they are sometimes just a way of being clever in Word and do not necessarily mean that an error has actually occurred. To avoid this kind of cleverness in Word, you can use two methods method to solve.

(1) Continuously enrich Word’s dictionary so that it can find fewer and fewer errors.

(2) Click the "Options" command on the "Tools" menu to open the "Options" dialog box, click the "Spelling and Grammar" tab, and remove "Check spelling as you type" and "Check spelling as you type". Check Grammar" checkboxes, or check the "Hide spelling errors in document" and "Hide grammatical errors in document" checkboxes, and then click "OK" to exit. Word will no longer be smart.
