Solve the problem of failure to obtain VirtualBox COM object error
I am learning to use Homestead recently, and an error occurred during the first step of setting up the Homestead environment, which is installing the VirtualBox virtual machine! Alas, fortunately it was solved. This article will record the solution to this error~
Error description:
In VirtualBox official Download linkAfter downloading VirtualBox, click Next for one-click installation;

When I thought the installation was successful and clicked the VirtualBox icon to open, the following error popped up:

How to solve it? It's actually very simple.
Solution:
1. Open the registry, enter "regedit" in [Start]-[Run].
2. Modify the following two items in the registry:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{00020420-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\InprocServer32
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{00020424-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\InprocServer32Change their default values to:
C:\Windows\system32\oleaut32.dll

3. Confirm to save, and then reopen VirtualBox after all modifications are made!
