Popular blockchain-based token, Simon’s Cat ($CAT), which recently launched on TokenFi, has announced a significant airdrop for the Floki community, allocating 20% of its total $CAT supply.

This initiative will see Floki holders and stakers being rewarded with a substantial portion of $CAT tokens, which will be distributed through multiple platforms and criteria.

Binance will play a key role in facilitating the distribution of $CAT tokens to eligible Floki holders. The detailed process and qualification criteria for this airdrop are outlined in an official Binance post. Floki holders on Binance can expect to receive a portion of the $CAT tokens based on their FLOKI holdings.

Moreover, Simon’s Cat has set aside 3.5% of its entire token supply, amounting to 315 billion $CAT tokens, to reward FLOKI holders with an on-chain airdrop.

To be eligible for this airdrop, users must maintain a minimum balance of 400,000 FLOKI tokens, and a final snapshot will be taken before August 29, 2024. Notably, individuals who match the eligibility requirements and possess FLOKI tokens on the ETH chain will still get $CAT tokens on the BNB chain, with the distribution being proportionate to the quantity of FLOKI tokens held on-chain.

In addition to the on-chain airdrop, users of the Floki Trading Bot will be allocated 1.5% of the whole $CAT supply. This allotment will be distributed over 30 days to those that trade $CAT using the bot. The Simon’s Cat team will offer further details about this distribution in a separate post.

Furthermore, the Simon’s Cat team is currently in discussions with other major centralized exchanges (CEXs) to finalize the airdrop details. As these arrangements are confirmed, more information will be shared.

It’s worth noting that there will be two snapshots for the on-chain $FLOKI airdrop: the first will be taken at 12:00:00 UTC on August 22, 2024, and the final snapshot at 23:59:59 UTC on August 29, 2024. The distribution of $CAT tokens will be based on the amount of $FLOKI tokens held at the time of the final snapshot on August 29.
