According to Wang Liang, chief R&D architect of Baidu Intelligent Driving Group (IDG), OCC technology can allow smart cars to identify objects more accurately, and the obstacle type recognition rate is as high as 99%.

Baidu Maps lane-level navigation has ushered in an important upgrade. With the industry's first large-scale map generation model, it has successfully produced LD lane-level map data covering 3.6 million kilometers of roads across the country. This milestone will not only bring the urban precise positioning technology PPA to the level of traditional high-precision maps, but also provide important support for the rapid promotion of intelligent driving on complex urban roads across the country.

LD lane-level navigation will be launched in 360 cities on all sides of Baidu Map, simultaneously supporting the nationwide opening of Jiyue PPA. This means that Jiyue Smart Driving can achieve precise navigation and autonomous driving wherever Baidu Map Navigation covers it. Jiyue CEO Xia Yiping said: "I can predict that Jiyue Smart Driving will soon be available nationwide. Open the Baidu Map APP, and as long as there are places in Baidu Map Navigation, it will be 100% available."
