Microsoft Edge market share hits record high but still lower than Safari

Microsoft Edge achieves its highest market share since launch. The report shows that a total of 11.23% of desktop browser users access the Internet through Edge, which is an increase of 0.43 percentage points from 10.8% in October.

Edge still lags far behind its main rival Chrome in the market. Even Safari, the only browser that's not cross-platform, outpaces Edge. Data from Statcounter shows that Safari has a market share of 13.3%, still maintaining the lead since surpassing Edge in April 2023.

As for Chrome, which dominates the desktop market, its market share is 62.06%. In November 2023, Chrome's market share dropped from 63.24% in the previous month.
