Boot Camp updated to support Apple Studio Display

Intel Mac users running Windows on Mac can now update their drivers in Boot Camp to support Apple's Studio Display.

Boot Camp is updated regularly to add support for new hardware and improve compatibility and performance. In a March software update, Apple has enabled Boot Camp for use with the new Studio Display.

Two key support elements have been introduced in the Boot Camp version 6.1.17 update. First, it adds compatibility with Studio Display, ensuring that Intel Mac users running Windows can still use the display without issue.

The update also includes AMD graphics driver updates, changes that are particularly useful for eGPU users.

Boot Camp is Apple's software for running Windows on Mac hardware and is available for Intel-based Macs. Apple Silicon Macs can run Windows in a virtual machine with macOS, which means Studio Display is supported by default as long as macOS is up to date.

While Studio Display will work on the Windows desktop, macOS-specific features (such as Center Stage for webcams) will not work.
