Moment launches new MagSafe installation option

Moment today added three new magnetic mounts to its existing line of MagSafe-compatible mounts for use with Apple’s iPhones. There's a mounting option for filmmakers, a stand that lets you place your iPhone anywhere, and an adapter for using the Moment magnetic stand with non-MagSafe iPhones.

The $99 Mobile Filmmaker Cage is a two-hand cage designed to make it easier to attach a microphone and lights to your phone while shooting video. It has multiple cold shoe, 1/4"-20 and ⅜"-16 accessory attachment points.

As the name suggests, the $40 Strap Anywhere Mount is designed to allow iPhone users to strap their iPhones anywhere, from bike handlebars to fitness equipment, for hands-free operation.

The Moment Stick-On Adapter is $10 and sticks to the back of a non-MagSafe iPhone to add a magnet and make it compatible with existing Moment MagSafe accessories. It is securely bonded to the device it is connected to using 3M VHB adhesive.

In addition to these three products, Moment has also updated its wall mount and car vent mounts with improved adjustable ball heads.

All of Moment’s stands feature the (M)Force magnetic array, which is said to be sturdier and allow for better connections than Apple’s standard accessories.
