Running the program as root user under centos prompts insufficient permissions

Problem:

When running a program installed under LINUX, root prompts that the permissions are insufficient.

Solution:

1. Check file permissions

#ls   -l   filename
Copy after login

means that no user has executable permissions (even the root user).

2. Change permissions

#chmod   a+x   filename
