What does python library mean?

The concept of a library is a collection of related functional modules. This is also one of the major features of Python, that is, it has a powerful standard library, third-party libraries and custom modules.

Module:

A complete Python file. In terms of physical organization, it is a file (such as math.py); in terms of logical organization, this file is a module (such as math).

The calling method is as follows (Method 1):

>>>import math

You can also call multiple modules at the same time (Method 2):

>>>import module_name1, module_name2, ……

At the same time, you can also directly call a function from the module (method 3):

>>>from module_name import function_name

Package:

package is an execution environment for a python application composed of modules and sub-packages, with folders Hierarchy. For example:

>>>AAA/
>>>   bbb.py
>>>   _int_.py
>>>   CCC/
>>>      c1.py
>>>      c2.py
>>>   DDD/
>>>      d1.py
>>>   ……
Copy after login

As can be seen from the above figure, package AAA contains both *.py modules and sub-packages such as CCC and DDD. If you call function func1 (located in c1.py), you can use the following code:

>>>import AAA.CCC.c1
>>>AAA.CCC.c1.func1()
Copy after login

When calling function func1 by this method, you need to indicate its location, that is, AAA.CCC.c1.func1(). If you want to use the function directly, you can use the following methods:

>>>from AAA.CCC.c1 import func1
>>>func1()
Copy after login
