Basic rules: Since the newly expanded space is appended to the end of the virtual disk, for multi-partition scenarios, only the last partition is supported for expansion.

Expand the data disk of the Windows instance

Restart the instance, refer to the previous document, and run diskmgmt.msc in the system to open the disk management back. As shown in the figure below, right-click on the rightmost partition, then select "Extend Volume", and finally follow the wizard to expand the volume.

Expand the data disk of the Linux instance

Restart the instance and uninstall the partition to be expanded, refer to the above Document, execute fdisk in the system to open disk management. Then, as shown in the figure below, when deleting a disk, the number entered is the serial number of the corresponding partition; and when re-creating a partition, the number entered is also the serial number of the partition.
