The local computer cannot start Apache troubleshooting, apache troubleshooting

Recently, due to work needs, I have to learn basic PHP programming, so I learned to set up a PHP working environment.

But according to the introduction in the textbook, after installing WMAP, it has not been able to run successfully. Later I found that Apache was never running. Go to the Apache option in WMAP and choose to start it but it cannot be started.

After receiving some advice from experts, I concluded that the following possibilities cannot be used to start Apache:

Possible situation one:

The path to install Apache2 cannot contain Chinese characters.

Possible scenario two:

Restarting Apache will pop up an error message box, prompting "The requested operation has failed!" Then open the service and start Apache2, and it will prompt me:
"Windows cannot start Apache2 on the local computer... and refer to the specific service error code 1"
Solution: Mainly in the confhttpd.conf in the Apache installation directory, modify
in the httpd.conf file # Change this to Listen on specific IP addresses as shown below to
# prevent Apache from glomming onto all bound IP addresses.
#
#Listen 12.34.56.78:80
Listen 80
Change port 80 to 81 or other,
After changing to,
#Listen 12.34.56.78:81080
Listen 8080
Restart ApacheServices and the problem will disappear
Perhaps, this method may have different solutions for different versions of Apache. I used the apache_2.2.11-win32-x86-no_ssl.msi version when configuring. I am not sure about other versions. Is this the change? , share my joy after solving the problem here!

Possible scenario three:

Because I have been busy these past few weeks, I rarely work on PHP. But today I suddenly remembered some calendar-related PHP programs I wrote at the beginning of school and wanted to improve them, so I started Apache from the service, but a warning appeared saying :
"Windows cannot start apache2 on local computer. Consult the system event log for more information. If this is a non-Microsoft service, please contact the service vendor and refer to the specific service error code 1."
After trying several times but it didn't work, I started MYSQL again. But it started successfully. Why can't I start Apache? Think about it, I changed the httpd.conf file last time. At that time, I just changed "AddCharset GB2312" to "AddDefaultCharset GB2312" because My PHP programs couldn't get the Chinese characters in the URL. So I thought there was a problem here, so I changed it to "AddDefaultCharset GB2312". I thought I would verify it next time, so I didn't start Apache. I found this problem when I started it today. I changed it back to the original "AddCharset GB2312" and started it again! But it started successfully! It seems to be a problem with this character setting!

Possible scenario four:

Open Thunder, which occupies port 80 by default. Just close Xunlei and restart the Apache service!

When starting as a service under windows, the following prompt appears: "Windows cannot start Apache on the local computer

It may be that the listening port of Apache conflicts with other software. This is a common mistake made by novices. When Windows installs the IIS server, it also installs the Apache server. Both server software listen to port 80 of the TCP/IP protocol. , so one of the services cannot be started. If you want both services to run at the same time, modify the listening port of Apache. Please refer to the Apache manual for the specific modification method. Different compiled versions have slightly different modification methods. Generally, the httpd.conf file is modified and the port 80 is changed to another one, such as 8080, etc.
If IIS is not installed, it will prompt that it cannot be started. That is Xunlei and other P2P software causing trouble. To find out which software it is, enter in the command line window: netstat -o -an
The Local Address column will display as follows:
0.0.0.0:135
0.0.0.0:445
0.0.0.0:1688
0.0.0.0:8100
0.0.0.0:16368
10.10.10.1:139
127.0.0.1:1032
. ..
Look for the process occupying port 80, then find its process Pid in the column corresponding to the PId, then find it in the task manager, or end the process.

Windows cannot start Apache tomcat 6 on the local computer

Re-uninstall and install it again. It is probably a software such as a firewall that has banned your service
