Vaporize Unused Weapons

In specific areas like the Challenge Room or the Shop, you are certain to find a Weapon, but due to the game's procedural nature, you won't always get a weapon you want to use.

Any Weapon can be vaporized by holding the interaction button near it, and this is a good way to dispose of unwanted weapons. Vaporizing a weapon rewards you with Soul Shards, which in turn help level up your current weapon.

Spend Crystals Strategically

This means any extra Hearts, Shields, or Crystals left in cleared rooms will stay there for the entire floor, and it's smart to leave some behind for after the boss or Challenge Room, so you can restore your health.

Unless you’ve selected the Sensitive Skin Misfortune at the start, or you're fighting specific enemies, like the round robots that emit a damage field around them (appearing on Floor Six and beyond), most enemies won't hurt you through contact.

If you're ever in a situation where you can't dodge an attack or are surrounded by enemies, you can run straight through them.

As long as they aren't melee attackers or have already launched an attack, you can usually avoid taking damage from bullets or projectiles, saving you from losing a Heart.

Or, in cases where taking damage is unavoidable, you can try to run through the enemy that deals the least damage, and trigger I-Frames for a brief moment of invincibility.
