Apple TV Renews Friday Night Baseball for a Fourth Season

Get ready for another season of exciting Major League Baseball action! Apple TV has announced the return of Friday Night Baseball for a fourth season, bringing weekly doubleheaders back to your screens starting March 28th.

This season-long series will feature two games each Friday, streaming in 60 countries across 25 weeks. The season kicks off with a doubleheader featuring the Baltimore Orioles versus the Toronto Blue Jays, followed by the New York Mets against the Houston Astros. Fans can look forward to a highly anticipated rematch between the Yankees and Dodgers, as well as a clash between the Rangers and Astros.

The broadcast team boasts a stellar lineup, including commentators Wayne Randazzo, Dontrelle Willis, Heidi Watney, Alex Faust, Ryan Spilborghs, and Tricia Whitaker. Pre- and post-game coverage will be provided by Lauren Gardner, Russell Dorsey, and Xavier Scruggs.

Apple and MLB's Emmy Award-winning production teams have collaborated to deliver a top-tier viewing experience. Expect state-of-the-art camera work, immersive 5.1 surround sound with Spatial Audio, and player and field-level microphones to transport you right into the stadium. U.S. and Canadian viewers can also tune into home and away radio broadcasts.

Beyond Friday Night Baseball, Apple TV subscribers in the U.S. will have access to the "MLB Big Inning" whip-around show and other MLB content. Apple TV 4K and iPad users can enjoy the multi-view feature, allowing them to watch up to four simultaneous streams, including FNB games, MLS soccer, and select live shows.

Beyond the Games: Additional Apple TV Content

This year's offerings extend beyond the live games. Apple TV will present "Fight For Glory: 2024 World Series," a three-part docuseries offering an all-access look at the drama and intensity of the World Series. Expect exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with key players, coaches, and journalists.

Apple's sports coverage also expands across its other platforms. The Apple Sports app will provide real-time scores, standings, and statistics. Apple News users will receive a personalized MLB feed with highlights, and Apple Music subscribers can enjoy official MLB playlists.
