Nothing Phone (3a) and (3a) Pro: A powerful upgrade to the mid-range mobile phone market
Nothing Phone (3a) and (3a) Pro are officially released, and they are expected to be the leader in the mid-range smartphone market. The two phones have significantly improved on the Phone (2a), focusing on improving the camera system, design and performance.
Design and Durability
(3a) series continues the design style of the previous generation, but is more refined in terms of details. The upgraded glass back cover, more optimized symmetry and finer processing all enhance the texture of the phone. In addition, the IP64 dust and waterproof rating also enhances the durability of the phone.
In terms of camera system, (3a) adopts a horizontally arranged triple-camera design, similar to (2a); while (3a) Pro uses a more stylish circular triple-camera module. Of course, both phones retain Nothing’s signature transparent design and Glyph LED system.
Nothing claims it is its most advanced camera system to date. Both phones come with a 50MP main camera, Sony ultra-wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens that supports 2x optical zoom. (3a) Pro is equipped with a 3x periscope telephoto lens, further enhancing the diversity of photography.
Although both phones have 50MP main cameras, the (3a) Pro's main camera is slightly better, with an autofocus speed of 43%, and a double pixel full well capacity. (3a) Pro's front camera has also been upgraded to 50MP, while (3a) is 32MP. Both phones come with the same 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide-angle lens.
Performance and Display
(3a) series is equipped with Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, and the CPU speed is said to be 33% faster than Nothing (2a), GPU graphics performance is 11% improved, and AI task processing capacity is 92%. The two phones are also equipped with larger heat-efficient panels to ensure heat dissipation performance.
In addition to performance improvements, the (3a) series also makes other hardware improvements, including a brighter, more sensitive display. Both phones come with a display with 6.77-inch, 1080 x 2392 resolution, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and 3000 nits peak brightness. Compared with previous generations, the screen ratio is slightly higher and the edges are rounder.
Battery and Charging
(3a) and (3a) Pro both come with large 5000mAh batteries, and Nothing claims to last up to two days after full charge. The upgraded 50W wired fast charge can be charged 50% in 20 minutes, providing a full day of battery life.
System & Updates
Nothing Phone (3a) series is pre-installed with Nothing OS 3.1 system based on Android 15, and provides up to six years of update support, including three years of Android system updates and six years of security updates, as well as other functional updates.
Price and time to go on sale
(3a) has been booked on March 4 and (3a) Pro will be booked on March 11. Both phones are only available in the United States through Nothing’s Beta program. (3a) 12GB 256GB version costs $379, (3a) Pro is priced at $459.

Galaxy S25's Now Bar: Improved dynamic information display, but still needs to be improved Samsung's new One UI 7 update based on Android 15 brings a lot of features, and one of my favorites (although slightly rough) is the "Now Bar" on the Galaxy S25. What is the Now Bar on Galaxy Phone? Unless you have a Galaxy S25 or are running a new One UI 7 beta, you may not know much about the Now Bar. It's similar to the movement of Apple
