Epic Games' monthly Fortnite subscription, the Fortnite Crew Pack, has a ton of truly fantastic perks. It's definitely beneficial for players who tend to buy V-Bucks often or simply enjoy exclusive cosmetics and skins. And, it saves you the hassle of worrying about missing exclusive bonuses and cosmetics.
However, it's not uncommon to not like what's included with the pack or simply not want to pay recurring payments and want out of the subscription. In this article, we'll show you exactly how you can cancel your Fortnite Crew subscription - this differs depending on the platform you're using so we'll go over all of them.
Updated January 12, 2025 by Jack Filsinger: Since the Fortnite Crew pass was released, there have been many changes to just what's included in the subscription, and what happens should you choose to cancel it. We've updated this guide to include what Fortnite Crew includes as well as what to expect if you decide to cancel your subscription.
The Fortnite Crew Pack is a monthly, subscription-based service that grants Fortnite players exclusive rewards.
Here are just a few examples of some of the rewards you'll gain when you subscribe to the Fortnite Crew Pack.
What might incline someone to cancel their Fortnite Crew subscription is its cost. Fortnite Crew costs $11.99 USD a month if you have recurring payments activated.
These are automatically turned on so if you don't want that to happen, you'll have to manually cancel it.
If you're subscribed to Fortnite Crew and have recurring payments activated then your billing date, meaning when you'll be charged, is the same day that you originally bought the membership.
So, if you're thinking about canceling your subscription and don't want to be charged again, you'll have to do it before your billing date.
Canceling your Fortnite Crew subscription might not be as easy as it sounds.
Ideally, it would be done simply by clicking a 'cancel' button, but this actually depends on the platform in which you bought the membership in the first place.
Our guide will go over each cancelation method, so scroll down to your preferred platform.
When you cancel your Fortnite Crew subscription, you will keep your previously earned premium rewards from all Fortnite passes, in addition to any subscription content you receive in each month.
However, you will of course not be able to claim future rewards or receive any type of prorated refund on the subscription.
If you purchased Fortnite Crew on PC or Android, you'll have to cancel your subscription through the Epic Games website.
If you purchased Fortnite Crew on Xbox, you'll have to cancel your subscription through the Microsoft website.
On this page, you can also select the 'Cancel subscription' option which might sound like the option you're looking for, but it's a bit misleading.
The 'Cancel subscription' option takes you to a page that allows you to contact support and ask for a refund of your subscription.
This will result in Fortnite Crew membership items being removed from your account; the Battle Pass won't be removed, but you will lose 950 V-Bucks.
If you purchased Fortnite Crew on PlayStation, you'll have to cancel your subscription through the PlayStation Store website.
If you purchased Fortnite Crew on Playstation, you'll have to cancel your subscription through the Nintendo eShop.
If you purchased Fortnite Crew on a Samsung device, you'll have to cancel your subscription through the Galaxy Store.
Canceling your subscription won't prematurely revoke your Fortnite Crew member privileges and you will not lose your items (unless you ask for a full refund through the Microsoft website.)
Even if you do it on the day right after subscribing, you will remain a member until the day before your supposed billing date.
If you want to learn more about the Fortnite Crew monthly subscription be sure to visit its official page on the Epic Games website, it contains tons of useful information about it.
