Where To Find The Weathervane

After you upgrade Hayden's barn at Sweetwater Farm, you'll wake up the next day to find out a strong wind has blown through town. So strong, in fact, that it ripped the new weathervane right off the roof

of Hayden's barn!

He hopes you can help him find it before Landen or Ryis notice, and tells you that he thinks it landed somewhere in the Narrows

based on the direction of the wind.

Despite the sense of urgency, you don't have to rush off

Make your way northwest to the Narrows, crossing over the river by the waterfall, just below the path to the ruins. Here, you'll find the severed weathervane

–and a brand-new horse statue!

The horse statue definitely wasn't here before, but there's no prompt to interact with it outside your own curiosity.

Return the weathervane to Hayden

to complete the quest, but the true reward is the mysterious horse statue.

How To Unlock Mounts

Interact with the horse statue and offer it 100 Essence. When you do, a mystical horse named Mistmare will appear! This unlocks the mount feature, allowing you to summon a spectral horse

at will and ride across the fields of Mistria.

You don't need a stable to house your mount, thankfully, since they are a magical creature. You can summon them and dismiss them as needed, and they won't require any sort of care

How To Upgrade Mounts

You can upgrade your mount at the statue, much like you would

upgrade and unlock new skills

How To Customize Mounts

You can customize your mount at any time, including changing Mistmare's name and appearance. Simply open your notebook, select the Animals tab, and select your mount. You can select the pencil icon to change their name!

If you've purchased the Nice Ride skill from the statue, you can also swap out your mist mount for one of your larger animals. This includes cows and horses

, as well as many others you find in the barn. You can ride these animals instead, using the same magical method.
