Ready, set, collect checkered flag tokens and go for the November racing event for Monopoly Go, the Harvest Racers event! Beginning at 10AM EST on November 26 with the team-building stage, you'll begin the actual races at 10AM EST on November 27. From there, you've got the weekend to play along!

Each day from then through November 30, you'll be teaming up with three other players to move your team's car around the game board, collecting lap rewards as you go. The prizes are awarded at the end of the event, so be sure to help your team this week!

How To Play Harvest Racers

Monopoly Go: Harvest Racers Guide

The first and most important thing to do now during the first day of the Harvest Racers event in Monopoly Go is to begin to build a strong team of three other players! Our best advice for this is always to either team up with people you know in real life so you can actively communicate about the game, or to team up with the most active players on your friends list. If they've always got shields when you try to do a Shutdown on their board, they're likely a good pick for a teammate, since they're playing Monopoly Go a lot.

Each team needs a total of four people to compete, but a new addition in the November Tycoon Racers event is the ability to leave a team before the race begins. If you don't like who you've been matched with - if someone brings a teammate you don't want to the table, or you receive a better offer and don't have space for the other player - you can click the red door beneath your player icon on the team screen. Monopoly Go will confirm this decision, and then you're free to start from scratch.

Like most special events in Monopoly Go, the Harvest Racers event requires you to collect tokens from other events that run in tandem with the November racers event, and then work together with three other players to move your teams' car around the game board, completing more laps than the three other teams you're up against throughout the Thanksgiving week in the US.

By expending tokens once the races begin, you'll be able to roll three dice to move your team's car around the game board, with the sum of those three dice added to your teams' cumulative score. You can choose to roll with a higher multiplier if you have enough flag tokens on hand to do so, and your score will be multiplied by the number on the multiplier as well. You'll also have your score doubled when you roll doubles, and it'll instead be tripled for rolling three of the same number on each of the dice.

How you choose to approach rolling the dice for the Harvest Racers event is truly left to your own play style! Some players save their tokens to roll fewer times with higher multipliers to cash in more effectively on good rolls, and some prefer to roll more times with lower multipliers to recover a little easier from the lower ones. It's truly up to you and how many tokens you have - there's no right or wrong way to play.

As mentioned above, as your team makes its way around the board, there will be a number of lap rewards to collect as your team rolls and earns points. This is tracked as you pass the starting line in the team's car, so be sure to keep an eye on this number by the starting line for the next available lap reward. Though you're working together to move your vehicle with three other players, everyone on the team gets to choose their own lap rewards each time your team achieves a new lap reward.

Each race lasts about 24 hours during the Harvest Racers event, and you'll receive a set number of points for coming in first, second, third, and last in each race. There aren't prizes for completing each individual race, but prizes are awarded based on your teams' overall standing once the races conclude on November 30.

The second, third, and fourth place teams receive a smattering of sticker packs to hopefully help finish any albums you've got left in the Marvel Go sticker albums, since the current album season ends on December 5. As such, the top prizes for Harvest Racers are pretty heavy on the stickers!

The first-place team naturally gets the best slew of rewards for Harvest Racers, though. If your team comes in first after the event is said and done, you'll receive a Wild Sticker to choose any missing sticker, a Swap Pack to hopefully get some rarer additions, a new board token of a chicken on a lawn mower, and even a new emoji waving a checkered race flag to boot!

How To Get More Harvest Racers Tokens

Monopoly Go: Harvest Racers Guide

One of the most important elements of playing the racing events in Monopoly Go is being sure to collect as many checkered flag tokens as you can, which come to you in a number of different ways while the Harvest Racers event is happening. These include:

  • Playing in the center banner events that are typically longer-term in nature and are displayed just below your current cash balance. These task you with landing on specific spots around your Monopoly Go game boards to earn points toward milestones, and plenty of milestones in these banner events are free Harvest Racers tokens for the duration of the event.
  • Playing in the daily leaderboard tournaments that take place daily, pitting you against 99 other Monopoly Go players on a leaderboard and offering progressively better prizes as you rise in the ranks. You'll get plenty of Harvest Racers tokens not only from the milestone rewards in each of these tournaments, but also from placing highly on your leaderboard - tournaments typically pay out lump sums of Tycoon Racer tokens during the events.
  • Completing your daily quick wins every day, a series of three tasks that resets every day at 8AM EST and asks you to do a handful of simple, basic gameplay tasks (like passing go, landing on Railroads, building up your game board, etc.). During Tycoon Racers events in Monopoly Go, these weekly quick wins also offer some Harvest Racers tokens in addition to the usual slew of free dice rolls, different colored sticker packs, and more.
  • Picking up loose flags around the board as you roll, with plenty of checkered flag tokens dotted around each Monopoly Go game board. The number of free Harvest Racers tokens you get from these spaces depends on the dice roll multiplier you were using when you landed there - it's one flag by default, but that number is multiplied by the same multiplier you used to land there.
  • Choosing extra flags as lap rewards as your team's vehicle makes its way around the track. The number displayed near the starting line shows how many more laps your team has until your next reward, and you'll often have the option to receive extra flags from these rewards.

You've got 25 hours to collect tokens before the Harvest Racers event begins properly on November 27 at 11AM EST with the first race, but be sure to keep collecting throughout the week, since you'll need to keep the momentum going to complete the event! As mentioned above, Harvest Racers rewards won't be paid out until the event comes to an end, so be sure to keep playing Monopoly Go throughout the week to help your team out in the November Tycoon Racers event.
