Sengoku Dynasty: How To Get Feathers

Whenever an open-world Survival Crafting game like Sengoku Dynasty gets released, gathering resources is one of its main gameplay loops. There are various resources scattered in different parts of the map, and you'll have to reach the right one at the right time if you want to keep progressing.

During the early game, Feathers will be one of your most sought-after resources. While this is quite easy to get, it can also be difficult to stack up, especially if you don't know exactly what you should do to get them.

How To Find Feathers

Feathers are one of the few resources that you can start gathering from the very beginning, and it's recommended to do so. While you're exploring the map of Sengoku Dynasty, you'll commonly find Crow's Nests sitting on the ground. These are most common near cliffs and other high points.

Once you get near the nest, you can simply pick out four eggs from it and then hold the interact button to remove it and get some sticks and feathers in return. These can be a little hard to spot during every season except winter, so you need to pay close attention.

In the early game, you can easily find feathers on the cliff near the beach where you spawn to the south of Looter's Camp.

Apart from hunting for these nests, you can also randomly get feathers when you cut trees. These are rare during the early game but they're more common after you get the Efficient Lumberjack upgrade. Once you're in the late game, you can use these methods to stack up on feathers:

• Create a Hunter's Hut building in your village and assign a villager to the Hunter's Workplace furniture. This will let you regularly get feathers.
• You can also buy feathers in bulk by visiting the Segi village. There are a couple of traders with over 100 feathers in stock here with another one outside the village to the south.

You can't use the Hunter's Hut to get feathers during the winter season, which makes it important to stock up beforehand.

What Are Feathers Used For?

Feathers might not be used for a lot of things, but they're still one of the most important resources that you'll consistently require in Sengoku Dynasty. This is mostly because they're an integral component in making any type of arrow, which is required for ranged combat.

You'll need five feathers for 15 arrows at the start, but this will grow to ten and even 20 feathers for Iron and Steel respectively. As you can see, you'll need a consistent farm for this item since you wouldn't want to spend your money buying them all the time.
