After its somewhat lackluster PlayStation 5 Pro announcement and nostalgia-inducing PlayStation 30th anniversary reveal, Sony has decided to show off some games for a change. It will be live-streamed on Sony's website tomorrow (September 24) at 15:00 EDT/18:00 PDT/23:00 BST. Sony says it will show off about 20 titles at the showcase, which will last for about 30 minutes.
However, those on the lookout for new franchises (or a Bloodborne remaster) might be sorely disappointed. While PS VR owners might get a few new titles to pick from, this State of Play is said to mostly focus on remasters. Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone are two titles that could get a remastered version, even though nobody asked for them.
Other notable entries could be Death Stranding 2, Marvel's Wolverine, some DLC for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 (and maybe even a PC port announcement) and another peek at Marvel's Blade. Now, there's a good chance Sony could spread those announcements out across multiple State of Plays because none of these titles are slated to launch until next year.
