Alleged finalized specs for Intel's Arrow Lake-S Core Ultra 200K processor series leak out

The final specs for the first wave of Intel Arrow Lake Core Ultra 200 desktop processors have been leaked by Chinese site Benchlife.info. Apparently, this information was corroborated based on details received by various Intel motherboard partners a full month ahead of the official announcement that is scheduled for October 10. It seems like the actual launch was pushed from October 17 to October 24. More processor models and less expensive motherboards are expected to debut at CES 2025.

Benchlife reports that, along with the new top-of-the-line Z890 motherboards, Intel plans to release five processors. Just like the newly-launched Lunar Lake mobile processors, Intel’s Arrow Lake-S models will not feature hyperthreading on the performance cores, and to somehow compensate, the number of efficiency cores is increased. As such, the Core Ultra 9 285K will integrate 8 Lion Cove performance cores and 16 Skymont efficiency cores, with a total of 24 threads. The Core Ultra 7 265K will feature an 8P 12E core cluster, while the Core Ultra 5 245K will only include a 6P 8E core cluster. The last two models will get KF variants with no iGPU.

On all five models, the E-core Max Turbo clock is set to 4.6 GHz, whereas the P-core clocks range from 5.6 GHz to 5.2 GHz. New to Arrow Lake series is the Thermal Velocity Boost technology being applied to all processors, not just the Core Ultra 9 model, allowing for maximum frequencies between 5.7 and 5.2 GHz, On the other hand, the Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0 is only available on the Core Ultra 9 and Core Ultra 7 models.

Base TDP for all models is set to 125 W, but the maximum TDP is still high at 250 W, which is just a few W lower than Raptor Lake. Nevertheless, this should not be cause for concern in regards to the core instability problems occurring on the Core i9 13th and 14th gen processors, as Intel has most likely fixed all the related issues on Arrow Lake. On the iGPU side, Intel will include the older Arc Alchemist series found on the Meteor Lake mobile processors instead of the new Arc Graphics 140V / 130V chips on Lunar Lake.
