Alienware AW2725QF: Dell releases new dual display mode gaming monitor across Europe, UK and the US

Dell has now released its latest Alienware gaming monitor, roughly a month after its initial debut. As expected, the Alienware AW2725QF retails in the US for $599, which could easily be confused for the more expensive and QD-OLED-based Alienware AW2725DF (curr. $899.99 on Amazon). However, Dell has also started selling the monitor in other markets like Europe and the UK simultaneously.

To recap, the Alienware AW2725QF relies upon a 27-inch IPS panel that outputs natively at 4K (3,840 x 2,160) with a 180 Hz refresh rate. With that being said, the Alienware AW2725QF supports a dual display mode as well, just like the ROG Strix XG27UCG before it. To that end, the Alienware AW2725QF can switch to a 360 Hz refresh rate when needed, albeit with a drop in resolution to 1080p.

Additionally, Dell's latest Alienware monitor boasts 400 nits SDR and 600 nits HDR peak brightnesses, as well as 95% DCI-P3 colour space coverage, 0.5 ms GtG response times and NVIDIA G-SYNC support to mitigate image tearing. Currently, the Alienware AW2725QF is orderable in the US with little to no lead times. Alternatively, the monitor sells for £530 in the UK and €613 in the Eurozone.
