Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and his family paid homage to Lord Ganesha on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi 2024 at his Nagpur residence in Maharashtra on Saturday, September 7.
In a video shared by news agency ANI, the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways can be seen offering prayers to the Ganpati idol, set against a backdrop themed on ISRO's Chandrayaan 3 space rocket.
"Union Minister Nitin Gadkari offers prayers to Lord Ganesha on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi 2024 at his Nagpur residence. The setup is based on the theme of Chandrayaan 3," ANI tweeted.
Meanwhile, Nagpur's Shri Ganesh Mandir Tekdi, said to be 250 years old, began its own celebrations with traditional morning prayers and aarti. Known for its self-existent deity, the temple remains a prominent point of devotion during the festival.
