The UGREEN Qi2 power bank has joined the company's growing list of accessories. It features a 10,000 mAh battery capacity and can charge devices 15W wirelessly. Thanks to the Qi2 certification, similar to MagSafe accessories, it features a magnetic design, making it easier to align compatible devices to the wireless coil.
Beyond wireless charging, the Qi2 power bank has a USB type-C port, which allows it to offer 30W fast charging in the wired mode. UGREEN says that this charging rate would allow the iPhone 15 Plus to reach 60% in 30 minutes. In the wireless mode, the portable charger is said to get the iPhone 15 Proto 20% in 19 minutes.
As for compatibility, this wireless power bank works with a broad range of devices, including accessories. Given that Qi2 is backward compatible, the portable charger will work with older Qi smartphones. Of course, in such cases, the wireless charging speed can be anywhere from 5W to 15W.
Besides that, UGREEN highlights the travel-friendly design of the Qi2 power bank. It measures 105x69x20 mm and weighs 217 grams. While there's no fancy screen like some of the other power banks (like the Anker 737 that's curr. $93.99 on Amazon), there's an LED indicator to show the battery percentage.
Other highlights of the UGREEN Qi2 wireless power bank include multiple protection features, a dedicated button for turning off wireless charging, and strong built-in magnets. It launched in China at CNY 199, which is about $28, and there's no word on global pricing and availability yet.
