Roborock has unveiled another mid-range model for global markets, the Qrevo Slim. The device is already available in China, though it is known as the V20. As its name suggests, the robot is particularly compact at just 8.2 cm (~3.2 inches) tall, so it can clean under more furniture.
The lower height of the Qrevo Slim is achieved with the new StarSight autonomous navigation system. This technology uses 3D time-of-flight (ToF) sensors to enhance performance while reducing the robot’s height. For reference, older Roborock models used PreciSense LiDAR navigation. Also included in the Slim are the DuoRoller Riser Brush, FlexiArm brush, and mop, which provide almost 100% room coverage. Combined with 11,000 Pa suction power, these tools are said to deliver a 99% hair pick-up rate.
The Multifunctional Dock 3.0 carries out eight tasks to maintain the robot, including washing and drying the mop heads and automatically emptying the onboard dustbin. Other features include adaptive cleaning intelligence, mop and brush lifting to optimize cleaning, and Matter compatibility, which will arrive in an OTA update. The Roborock Qrevo Slim robot vacuum and mop will retail for $1,399.00/€1,299.99.
